How to Dress like Ryan Reynolds

Who wants to see this guy in clothes? Have you seen his abs? I truly think that those shirts with the abs painted on was inspired by Ryan Reynolds himself. So if you truly want to dress and look like Ryan Reynolds, look into purchasing one of these. Of course, that probably wouldn't be acceptable in the office or get you a date, so here are my suggestions and tips on how to replicate Ryan Reynolds' style.
Casual Look #1: Manly Ryan
Ok, so this look is great when you want to be a little grungy, burly and uber manly. Of course the beard he's sporting has a lot to do with it. But the leather man bag, the lopsided beanie, the distressed leather jacket, it's all screaming, "Manly and don't care". Although, if you look closer, he is layering galore. He clearly knows what he's doing when it comes to fashion. The gray tee underneath the brown v-neck sweater, the black leather jacket, the light brown distressed braided belt with gray jeans. I love the mixture of black and brown and I love how it has a rustic feel. Oh that Ryan....he's so vintage!
Casual Look #2: Preppy Ryan
When Ryan is clean shaven, he is a preppy guy. Notice he lightens up the color with a cool blue plaid shirt that is slightly unbuttoned, rolled up sleeves, with wife beater tank underneath. Topped off with a straw fedora hat, khakis, and the brown leather man bag makes another appearance. This man is not afraid of accessories and honestly if guys weren't intimidated by accessories, there would be so many more fashionable straight guys out there. Go for the hat, the scarf, the man bag and have fun with fashion!
Casual Look #3: Incognito Ryan
Is that Ryan Reynolds? Or is that someone replicating his look by reading Style with Anna? Who can tell with this incognito look. All in black, with a pop of color from that big bold striped chunky scarf. The gray newsboy cap, big bold scarf and casual kicks lighten up the look. And are you seeing his belt peaking through? Boy is coordinating what looks to be a canvas belt that is red, black or navy and white stripes. Oh yea, he knows what he's doing.
Semi-Casual Look #4: Inspector Ryan
(He can inspect my Ryan....what?...what does that even mean?) Alright so this look is great for evening out with friends, parties, semi-casual/semi dressy occasions. This look is simple and classic. You need essential pieces like a trench coat, or a vest, and who doesn't have a black tie and gray button up dress shirt and jeans? I love the deep dark blue wash of these jeans and how they are straight fit and not super baggy.
Make sure you look good in straight cut jeans. If you're 6'5" 250lbs, you may wanna stick with a loose fitting or relax fit jeans. Nothing like a big tall man in tight jeans or a medium to bigger built shorter guy in tight jeans. Know your body and know what flatters you.
Formal Look: 007 Ryan
All guys need to have a 3 piece navy blue tailored suit shown here. Besides the standard black suit, the blue suit is flattering and gives you a cool shade against your skin tone. Be sure that the undershirt, vest, jacket, pants, everything fits like a glove. Anything baggy just looks sloppy and unkept. Oh yes, and when wearing this outfit, be sure to walk with the "James Bond 007" music theme playing in your head. This will really help with the attitude.
How to Dress like Matthew McConaughey

Sure, most of Matthew McConaughey's wardrobe and accessories consist of board shorts and an ipod, but this leading man definitely has style of his own. When he's not on the beach doing yoga in his board shorts or playing his bongos naked, his style is rustic meets leading man. On casual days, he usually sports a manly outdoorsy/surfer guy look. When it's time to do the red carpet, he is slick back and very well put together. I'll show you what I mean.
Casual Look #1
You will hardly ever catch this man in pants. He lives in LA and if he's not naked, he's almost always in shorts. To achieve Matthew's look, think outdoorsy. Go for rustic colors like greens, red, rust, browns, etc. Buy a good pair of flip flops (go for tan or brown) and don't be afraid to go for a leather rustic man bag. Sure, you guys will think, "I am not wearing a man purse." In my opinion, you are afraid to wear a man bag because you're afraid you'll like it too much. You will never loose your wallet, keys, cash, or id ever again. Makes too much sense. And if you guys start comparing and swapping man bags with your friends, it could get a little weird. I understand. But try it out. At least when you travel or of course for school. If Matthew Mcconaughey is man enough to do it, so could you.
Casual Look #2
In this casual look, Matthew is wearing a polo shirt or button up with cargo shorts and flip flops. The key to this look is the relax way that he wears it. Keep your top buttons unbuttoned (please no crazy hairy chest), accessorize with the essentials. Choose the following accessories: tennis visor, bandanna
(not shown, but definitely Matthew McConaughey-esque), aviators, and man bag. Keep the colors muted and BAM! You could audition for "Ghost of Girlfriends Past 2" - the straight to video sequel.
Semi Casual Look
Matthew just really doesn't like clothes. Even when he's wearing clothes, he hardly wants to button any buttons. And that's exactly what you should do to channel your inner Matthew McConaughey. Here is a great example of his rebel attitude to fashion. A navy blue dress shirt with dark grey jeans and nike walking shoes. Does it make sense? No. Does he have a hot woman on his arm and millions of other women swooning? Yes. The key to this is attitude. Oh, and don't forget the aviators. VERY important.
Formal Look (just the way we like him)
Alright, so when Matthew is absolutely REQUIRED to wear clothes, he does a fine job. Most red carpet looks for men is boring and bland. I don't blame you guys, it's hard to spice up a plain old black suit. Well take some direction from Matthew. Pinstripe pants, vest, deep reddish almost purplish dress shirt with a deep burgundy red tie to really spice it up and keep it sexy. Keep your hair slick back, groomed and clean with a hint of a 5 o'clock shadow. The perfect recipe for a leading man. Oh, and don't forget to accessorize with the hot model on your arm.
****BONUS FASHION TIP*****
If you live in colder climates and can't exactly sport the Matthew McConaughey, reinterpret his look. If he's wearing a light polo, choose a polo sweater. If he's wearing cargo shorts, opt for cargo pants or distressed jeans for that rustic look. If you need to throw on a jacket to pull off the look, interpret his brown leather man bag into a brown leather jacket. If it's too cold to wear a visor, opt for a beanie. If he has canvas colored flip flops, go for canvas colored or rustic brown leather casual dress shoes or boots. So this way, no matter where you live, you can always channel the McConaughey.

Well, it is definitely her year! She chose the perfect dress and the night went as planned. Sandra Bullock shows up in this stunning silver sparkling gown with lace overlay. This dress somewhat reminds me of Halle Berry Oscar dress the year she won. Either way, it's gorgeous, it's got the perfect amount of sparkle. I love her sleek and simple hair, simply stunning!
