Replicate Beyonce’s 2009 BET Red Carpet Look

Some people loved Beyonce's 2009 BET Awards Red Carpet dress, while others like Perez Hilton said it looked like a tacky cocktail dress. If you're on the "love it" side, I found some similar dresses that would be great for an evening event, daytime outing with friends or just something trendy and colorful to go to lunch in. These short long sleeved dresses are great colors for summer, and figure friendly.

Not a usual favorite of mine, I actually kind of like Beyonce Knowles' dress at the 2009 BET Awards. I love the colors to this long sleeved mini dress that looks almost like splatter paint with some sparkle factor. The best part about this whole outfit are the shoes though. The purple t-strap heels almost look like they have beads hanging off of it. The colors coordinate well and the shoes...omg...I need to find a replica for this fast. This is to die for! Ok fine Beyonce, it's a successful look girl! However....WTF is this??

Calling all short girls! Adrienne is only 4'11'' like me and she looks hot here at the 2009 BET Awards. I love her soft blue strapless bubble dress. This type of cut looks great on short girls. It shows a lot of leg and if you have toned arms, it really accentuates your arms. I also love the brown feathery chunky necklace she has on and the chunky brown shoes trend up her look. If she's not with Rob Kardashian anymore, he is probably eating his heart out because she looks hot! Did they get back together? Anybody know? Eh whatever, the look is a success!

 

Best and Worst Dressed at the 2009 BET Awards: Claudia Jordan

This is the definition of trendiness for summer fashions. At the 2009 BET Awards, actress Claudia Jordan trends it up in this bohemian inspired purple, long in the back dress with dull silver ankle strapped shoes and a teal clutch. Wow. I love this. It's fun, it's colorful, it's funky. It's great for everday wear, but it's still very unique for the red carpet. I give this look an A. There should definitely be a replica of this look soon!
