Miley Cyrus: Worst Dressed at the 2009 Academy Awards / Oscars

Hannah Montana and Bolt star Miley Cyrus is wearing an ultra bling gown designed by Zuhair Murad at the 2009 Oscars. This dress is too old for her. It looks like fish scales or plates of mushroom or something growing out of her body. I appreciate all of the detail, but I think this dress was overwhelming and I gasped when I saw it. And not in a good way.

 

Lisa Rinna: Best Dressed at the 2009 Academy Awards / Oscars

Lisa Rinna is wearing a gorgeous deep purple gown designed by Argentinian designer Gustavo Cadile with Jimmy Choo shoes. This simple dress was perfect for the occasion for her as she hosts TV Guide's red carpet coverage. I'm surprised she didn't rock the slit up the leg and kept it classy. Her hair is rather medusa looking, but overall we dig this look.

 

Confessions of a Shopaholic is Out!

Calling all fashionistas! Bring your girlfriends or drag out your boyfriends today! Confessions of a Shopaholic is out and I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of fashion eye candy for us to indulge in. I plan on seeing it and will let you guys know if it's good. Isla Fisher
This girl is so super cute. I loved her in Wedding Crashers and Definitely, Maybe among many other films. Her baby daddy is the very funny Sasha Baron Cohen, otherwise known as Borat. I wonder if he'll break out the mankini swimsuit for her for Valentine's Day. These two are such a funny couple, I wonder if they still make each other laugh or is it annoying when you have to live with Borat? I wouldn't think so, I love funny men! Did I ever mention I have a thing for comedians and magicians? Yea, it's weird.

Hugh Dancy
This British actor is UK's most talented up and coming actor. He totally reminds me of a younger Colin Firth of Bridget Jones's Diary (You know, Mark Darcy) and a little bit of Orlando Bloom. Do you see it? Hugh Dancy has been in films such as Black Hawk Down, King Arthur and Basic Instinct 2. He is currently engaged to Claire Danes and his Star Popularity meter on IMDB is up 328% right now due to the movie. Interesting...I'm sure I will have a huge crush on him after I watch the movie. And if he pulled a rabbit out of his hat...it would be over.

Krysten Ritter
Now I'm not too familiar with Krysten Ritter. But she was on 27 Dresses and has done a lot of TV work including "Til Death" and "The Gilmore Girls". Krysten was discovered in a mall by Elite Model Managment (that's why it's good to go shopping alllll the time. You never know who you may run into). She traveled the globe to do her modeling, but quit to focus on her acting, writing and music. I'm sure we will see more of her as she is currently working on many other projects.

I'm so excited you guys! I can't wait to see all of the clothes! I bet the stylist on this set had a lot of fun and I am definitely going to let you guys know what I thought of the movie. Stay tuned!!

2009 Grammys: Where’s Chris Brown and Rihanna?

There were two superstars obviously missing in action at the 2009 Grammy Awards.  Chris Brown and Rihanna were a no show.  What could be more important than the Grammys to a musician?  Apparently, the LAW! According to E! Online:

About the time Brown was scheduled to be singing "Forever" onstage at Los Angeles' Staples Center, he was instead detained by police, being questioned for allegedly roughing up Rihanna. No charges have been filed.
