Ok, let's talk about pet fashions. It's just as important to keep your pets looking absolutely fabulous, stylish and well manicured at all times!
I once took my cat to the groomers and spent $60 on a bath, haircut, and nail clipping. When he got home, his nails were split all the way to the root! I was devastated because I don't even want to know why a professional groomer wouldn't know, or worse, wouldn't even care about properly trimming a pets nails. Like humans, pets have veins that, when cut too deep, will cause the vein to bleed. This is painful for the pet and the memory of the pain lasts longer than you think. If you don't trim the nails altogether, that's going to cause problems as well. The nails will grow out too long and end up curving in and possibly puncturing the pads of their paws. This can also cause arthritis because they won't be able to stand on their feet properly. What I'm saying is, give your precious babies a mani/pedi!!
I saw PediPaws on the infomercial and wondered if it actually worked. I buckled down and got it and I love it! Of course, the ease of use depends on your pet and how well they react to having their paw held. You have to ease them in with the lowest setting to not startle them with the noise and vibration. Filing each nail only takes a few seconds, so be careful not to overdo it. This is a great alternative to trimming if you're not confident you're doing it right. It's also a cost effective way keep your pets nails under control in between vet trips.
Ordering this product through the TV infomercial is always tricky. They always have a lot of hidden fees and outrageous shipping prices that you have to be careful of. Pedi Paw is sold at Walgreens, CVS, Bed Bath and Beyond and I've also seen it at Fry's. Fry's is like Best Buy for us here in California, so it might be at Best Buy too. It's sold at these places for about $19.99. Which is affordable, but it is on Ebay for much cheaper. Cheap enough for you to try it out and see if it's suitable for your furry little family members! They need the mani/pedi's more than we do!
