Best and Worst Dressed at the 2009 BET Awards: Adrienne Bailon

Calling all short girls! Adrienne is only 4'11'' like me and she looks hot here at the 2009 BET Awards. I love her soft blue strapless bubble dress. This type of cut looks great on short girls. It shows a lot of leg and if you have toned arms, it really accentuates your arms. I also love the brown feathery chunky necklace she has on and the chunky brown shoes trend up her look. If she's not with Rob Kardashian anymore, he is probably eating his heart out because she looks hot! Did they get back together? Anybody know? Eh whatever, the look is a success!

 

Best and Worst Dressed at the 2009 BET Awards: Claudia Jordan

This is the definition of trendiness for summer fashions. At the 2009 BET Awards, actress Claudia Jordan trends it up in this bohemian inspired purple, long in the back dress with dull silver ankle strapped shoes and a teal clutch. Wow. I love this. It's fun, it's colorful, it's funky. It's great for everday wear, but it's still very unique for the red carpet. I give this look an A. There should definitely be a replica of this look soon!

Ok, so this is her first look at the 2009 BET Awards. Ciara is wearing a burgundy leather dress with ruffling down the side. The dress is kind of plain, but it accentuates her figure and look at those arms! This is the case where she's wearing the dress and the dress is not wearing her. Successful and gorgeous! Ciara looks different from her earlier years and her looks just keep on getting better. Go on with your bad self girl!

The whole night was a Michael Jackson tribute and Ciara had a touching performance. It wouldn't have been an appropriate tribute if she didn't dress in a classic Michael Jackson outfit and I think she pulled it off well. I love her miniature version of his buckled boots. We may be seeing even more of that as a trend.

 

Best and Worst Dressed at the 2009 BET Awards: Melody Thornton

I am pretty sure it's NEVER good idea to show your ass on the red carpet and it's not usually socially acceptable anywhere else. I'll hand it to Singer Melody Thornton though, she's got a great bod. Her booty is definitely toned. However, I do not appreciate this super threaded and stringy excuse for a dress at the 2009 BET Awards. It's pretty vulgar and not flattering at all. Her face is way too pleasant for this obnoxious dress. So to that way say, sorry Melody, it's a fail.
